Over 35,000 runners are expected to take part in Tokyo Marathon 2014. It's one of the hardest marathons in the World to gain entry to, so you'll be glad we have guaranteed Tokyo Marathon entries.
The course of Tokyo Marathon 2014 symbolizes the past, present and the future of Tokyo, and during the unforgettable 26.2 mile journey you will have the chance to thoroughly enjoy this legendary city's legacy!
Tokyo Marathon 2014 starts in front of the impressive Tokyo Metropolitan Government building and passes through numerous famous sightseeing spots, such as the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower and Tsukiji Market (the World's largest fish market), to finish at Tokyo Big Sight Convention Centre. There's a time limit of 6 hours 40 minutes and you must be 19 years of age or over.

Bib Number must be picked up between 20th (Thursday) and 22nd (Saturday) February, 2014 during the Tokyo Marathon EXPO 2014 (Tokyo Big Sight). Note: The check-in desk will not be available on the day of the Race.
Pace setters will be present, wearing orange coloured bibs to enable runners to spot them along the course.
These pace setters will be targeted to complete the event in the following times: 3 hours, 3 hours 30 minutes, 4 hours, 4 hours 30 minutes, 5 hours and 5 hours 30 minutes.
Note these times are subject to confirmation and may change
Starting at the 5km water will be available every 2-3kms and sports isotonic drinks every 5kms. Food such as bananas, bread and sweets will be available from the 22km mark.
PERSONAL REFRESHMENTS AND CLOTHING
Personal clothing can be placed in the baggage deposit bag which you received at registration. Your bag will be available for collection at the end of the race
If staying at Keio Plaza Hotel and Shinjuku area Hotels you will be within walking distance to the Starting Area
There will be a return shuttle taking you back from the finish line to Shinjuku area to your hotels.
The "TOKYO MARATHON EXPO 2014" will be open with lots of exciting exhibitions located at the Tokyo Big Sight. Since all runners are required to register at the EXPO, this ensures that an estimated 35,500 runners in addition to their families and friends will visit the EXPO.

FINISHERS T-SHIRTS, MEDALS AND CERTIFICATES
All entrants will receive an event t-shirt. All finishers will receive a commemorative medal and the certificate will be sent in the mail.
